Alpine Classic version no 2006
Well the Alpine has come and gone. We had a great crew on this years ride and while we didn't ride as a group we did start that way. Mixed results with the best performance of the day going to Mr One Speed Johnny Archer. Along for moral support this year was David Groom, riding up and down giving support and a general round up of the pain and suffering.
Like the greater majority of riders we had several riders that decided the day was too hot and pulled the pin at the 130 mark. Dinner was a much nicer affair this year without the flies. Must remember to book again for 2007. Rick Calley will be making his first attempt in 2007 as well.
